RAPPER CASSIDY TO RELEASE NEW BOOK, BEHIND B.A.R.S. AND MUSIC. E.P. FOR CHARITY

Philadelphia, PA- March 1, 2013 – With the April 15 release of Behind B.A.R.S.: The Autobiography of Cassidy (GGIS Publishing), hip-hop artist Cassidy retells the story of his life and redemption through the perspective of his near fatal car accident. “They say your entire life flashes before your eyes before death,” Cassidy states. “This book consists of what flashed before me the night of my near-fatal car accident. Some of these events I have not shared with anyone.” Cassidy is available immediately for interviews, speaking engagements, and book signings.

Music E.P.

Cassidy and Pastor Jomo K. Johnson of Philly Open Air Church, will team up to create the first Rapper/Pastor Hip Hop music collaboration titled, “God Works In Mysterious Ways”, also available through GGIS.  Proceeds of the E.P. will go to two Philadelphia based charities. (TBR April 15th)

Cassidy is a platinum selling hip hop artist who hails from Philadelphia, PA. First establishing his credibility as champion of the Cipher radio battles on 107.9FM, Cassidy rose to prominence with the Ruff Ryders record label.
